BREA, Sustainable Energy & Climate Solutions
At BREA – Sustainable Energy & Climate Solutions , we are dedicated to redefining how homes and businesses approach energy, comfort, and resilience—combining efficiency, reliability, and environmental responsibility. Our mission is simple: to deliver intelligent, sustainable solutions tailored to the Algarve lifestyle.
One of our core specialities is air conditioning, providing complete climate control solutions for residential, commercial, and holiday properties. We design and install high-performance systems that deliver efficient cooling in the summer, reliable heating in the winter, and effective dehumidification throughout the year. Using the latest inverter technology and energy-efficient equipment from leading manufacturers, our systems offer exceptional comfort while reducing electricity consumption and operating quietly. Whether you require a single-room installation, a multi-split system, or a complete solution for a large property, we ensure every installation is designed to maximise performance, efficiency, and long-term reliability.
To keep your system performing at its best, we also provide comprehensive maintenance and servicing. Regular maintenance improves efficiency, extends equipment lifespan, enhances indoor air quality, and helps prevent costly breakdowns—ensuring your air conditioning continues to operate safely and efficiently year after year.
Our expertise also extends to renewable energy solutions. We design and install high-performance solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, carefully engineered to maximise self-consumption and long-term energy savings. These systems can be seamlessly integrated with battery storage and backup solutions, allowing you to store excess solar energy for use during the evening or in the event of power outages, providing greater energy independence and peace of mind.
Complementing our photovoltaic systems, we install solar thermal (thermosiphon) systems, delivering reliable and environmentally friendly hot water with minimal energy consumption throughout the year.
To further improve efficiency and comfort, we supply and install heat pumps for domestic hot water, space heating, and cooling, as well as pool heat pumps to extend the swimming season while reducing energy costs. We also provide pool covers, helping minimise heat loss, reduce water evaporation, and improve overall energy efficiency.
Beyond energy solutions, BREA offers a range of property improvement services, including professional painting, roof insulation, waterproofing, and the renovation and enhancement of patios and outdoor living spaces. These services help protect your property, improve thermal performance, and increase both comfort and long-term value.
From private residences to commercial developments, we manage every stage of each project—from consultation and system design to professional installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance. Our experienced team is committed to delivering tailored solutions with quality craftsmanship, transparency, and exceptional customer service at the heart of everything we do.
Join us in creating a more efficient, comfortable, and sustainable Algarve. With BREA – Sustainable Energy & Climate Solutions , innovative climate control, renewable energy, and smart property solutions come together to create a better future.

Extend the Life of Your Roof
Over time, roofs accumulate moss, algae, dirt and moisture that can weaken tiles and compromise their durability. Regular professional cleaning is essential to maintain both the appearance and structural integrity of your roof.
Our advanced roof cleaning process safely removes biological growth and built-up debris without damaging the tiles. To ensure long-term protection, we apply a high-quality water repellent treatment that helps prevent moisture penetration, reduces future moss growth, and protects against weather-related damage.
The result is a cleaner, stronger, and longer-lasting roof — enhancing your property's appearance while protecting your investment for years to come.

Professional Solutions for Air Conditioning
Importance of Regular Maintenance for Energy Systems
Many homeowners and businesses invest in energy systems such as air conditioning, photovoltaic solar panels, and thermosiphon solar water heaters to improve comfort, reduce electricity costs, and make their homes more energy efficient.
However, what many people do not realize is that these systems require regular maintenance to continue working properly and efficiently.
Without proper maintenance, equipment can lose efficiency, consume more energy, develop faults, and in some cases even stop working completely. Small issues that could easily be resolved during a routine inspection may turn into expensive repairs or replacements if they are not detected early.
Regular maintenance helps to:
✔ Maintain maximum energy efficiency
✔ Extend the lifespan of your equipment
✔ Prevent unexpected breakdowns
✔ Reduce long-term repair costs
✔ Ensure the system operates safely
This is why having a maintenance contract is highly recommended. With scheduled inspections by qualified technicians, your system stays in optimal condition all year round and potential problems can be identified before they become serious.
Protect your investment and keep your energy systems performing at their best.

Testimonials
With all the rain we had
here, 3 spots in our house where rainwater was leaking through the roof after 4
years without any trouble.
We asked Rita Ferreira from Bre Algarve for help and in a short time she came
with roof-specialists.
She gave us a quote to let the roof not only be repaired, but also being made
water proof repellent for what we think was a very reasonable price.
Soon after we accepted, the jobs were done to our total satisfaction.
The roof looks like brand new, as they cleaned it in the process.
We are totally happy with your service Rita!
We recommend her services.

I highly recommend BRE Sustentabilidade Algarve for roof painting and waterproofing. From my first query, their response was quick, and their professional advice was excellent. The team used top-quality products, was always on time, and remained polite and approachable throughout. They worked quickly and tidily, offering a very fair price for the high standard of work. I am so satisfied that I've already booked them for more projects. A fantastic, reliable choice for anyone in the Algarve!
